and Ken look forward to welcoming you to Bulkeley Mill and offering
the opportunity to relax in the tranquility of their unique home and
garden.
It is believed that there has been a mill on this site since the 15th
century.Bulkeley
Mill situated in Rowen one of the most picturesque villages in the
Conwy Valley.
Just 4
miles from the castle and walled town of Conwy, it is an ideal location
from which to tour the Snowdonia National Park, both the inland and
coastal attractions, National Trust and CADW properties abound locally
including the world famous Bodnant Gardens only 3 miles away.
Our
own garden is registered with CADW and ICOMOS as a garden of historic
interest.

This
is what Marion calls the "Balcony Room", derived from
the fact it has its own personal access onto a balcony that overlooks
the mill wheel and gardens.
The room
has a canopied king size double bed, with a dressing room and fully
equipped ensuite facilities.

This is the family bedroom with
the principal bedroom having single beds and ensuite bathroom. Adjoining
is another twin bedded room. This suite of rooms have views, onto both
the garden and to the mountains beyond.

Enjoy your breakfast in
this unique room,viewing through the 5ft thick walls the slowly rotating
waterwheel and beyond into the garden of Azaleas in springtime or Hydrangeas
in summer
A full range of breakfast selections are on offer to you each and every
morning with breakfast served on Country Rose bone china. |

The
lounge is a conversion of the original 1689AD, 1st floor mill building
including the winch pulley and shaft, which are still in place.
This is the room for you to relax in on arrival or in the evening with
the open log fire. It is fitted out with furniture for your comfort
with soft lighting and the option for either music or TV - not forgetting
the ambiance of the room which seems to capture its history. To read
