Historic food in an historic setting.
There is always a warm welcome at the ‘Tynni’ from your hosts, Mark, Helen, George & Jayne and our staff. The same menu and daily specials are served throughout the ground floor, giving a choice of a traditional pub atmosphere in our several bar rooms in the older part of the building, or a more contemporary café-bar feel in two rooms in the newer part.
The old bar has three open fires in the winter months and a pool table & juke box in the quarry bar.
We use fresh local produce wherever possible, and although we cook most of the menu ourselves we also use good quality items produced locally such as Patchwork pate from Ruthin and award winning sausages from Edwards of Conwy.
We aim to provide well cooked locally sourced food in a relaxed informal environment.
